For anyone interested in self prescribing I would recommend having a small kit of remedies available to use in the home.  These can be used to treat minor health problems and for first aid situations such as minor injuries, cuts and burns.  Remedies can be bought individually from health food shops or as a kit.  Helios and Ainsworths Pharmacies both produce excellent remedy kits which contain a comprehensive range of remedies complete with explanatory guides.

The Ainsworths Essential Remedy Kit
